Bubbys has my shirts...

Wed, 07/23/2008 - 14:16

This is Mark and Jackie at their new ice cream and yam fries truck…hmmmm…trailer I guess…called “Bubbys.”  Maaaaaaan is that ice cream ever silky smooooooooth…  Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!  It’s home made ice cream and it is kind!  Suuuuuper kiiiiind I should say!  …and I should know ‘cause I’m the ice cream lovin’est guy ever!  I haven’t had their yam fries or a falafel yet (all good things in all good time) but I have watched how happy they have made people when I have seen others eat them…  Bubbys is at the Playmor Junction (1/2 way between Nelson and Castlegar, BC).  Maaaan, you just have to go eat some of their kind fixin’s.  Your tastebuds’ll throw a party in your mouth.

Jackie and Mark are great.  They are both a lot like me…They love to charge the mountains full tilt year ‘round.  (Sweeeeeeet…)  They are such kind people that they might just be teetering on being tooooo kind…  (Sweeeeeterrrr!  Giggle giggle)  Jackie used to work at my spa back in the day when it first opened.  We had a lot of things in common, and by the time she left the spa she became one of my most favourite people I have ever met.  Jackie ruuules (So does her friend Jeannie…She’s a chargin’ maniac too!  Niiiiiice!)!  A year or so after she started at the spa Jackie met Mark…  I can’t remember the first time I met him, but when I did all I thought was, ”Daaaaaaaang…He’s like the nicest guy ever!  Alriiiiiiiiiight Jackie…She shoots, she scores!”  (Giggle, giggle)  Then I learned more about Mark as I got to know him, and he only got better and better…

Everybody does better from having met these two people, which is another reason everybody should go to Bubbys.  Let Mark and Jackie fix you up some super yummy food…you will be happy you did.

Jackie and Mark have been nice enough to let me sell my International Triathlon for Kids shirts at Bubbys.  They are $20.

Thanks you guys.  Bubbys rules!
